We EmpowHER recently launched its highly anticipated 7th Annual Women’s Empowerment Series (WES), marking another significant milestone in the organization’s journey to uplift and support women from all walks of life. Held on Tuesday, March 19th, the event not only symbolized a continuation of We EmpowHER’s commitment to empowering women but also highlighted the enduring legacy of the Women’s Empowerment 12-week series as the cornerstone program of the organization.

We EmpowHER also recognizes the barriers that childcare can pose for women and mentors to participate in our programming. In response, we offer free childcare on a first-come, first-served basis, to help mothers feel confident in attending our classes. This initiative not only supports mothers in accessing our programming but also allows their children to engage with peers and learn about topics that mirror what their mothers are learning in class, facilitating conversations at home.
Additionally, WES serves a meal to all women, children, mentors, and volunteers involved with the series every Tuesday night – that’s over 150 people! We are immensely grateful to our community members, organizations, and businesses that have generously donated to make these meals successful.
