Since March 27, 1911, Exchange has worked to make communities better places to live. Founded in Detroit, MI, by a group of businessmen known as the Boosters’ Club, the organization began as an “exchange” of ideas about what the members might accomplish with their collective talents and mutual interests.
Today, Exchange is comprised of clubs and members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Known as “America’s oldest service club,” Exchange upholds three Programs of Service – Americanism, Community Service, and Youth Programs – as well as its National Project, the prevention of child abuse. The Programs of Service and National Project guide the services each club provides to its community, based on the needs of a given community and the club members’ interests.
OUR VISION: A strong America, safe communities, and unified people
OUR MISSION: Exchange, inspiring communities to become better places to live
OUR CORE VALUES: Family, Community, and Country
OUR MOTTO: Unity for Service
Our Future goals at a local level are to continue to find new ways to get involved with our community. To grow our current membership to be able to have a larger impact in Fond du Lac County. Our community & society
needs to work together. Exchange Club gives people the chance to be inspired, solve problems, share humor share their achievements. People who stay within a community are the ones that agree passionately with its values, and with these shared beliefs, trust and togetherness, there’s no limit to what we can do.
Bringing together like-minded people headed for the same goal nurtures a rewarding and engaging community.
