I get asked quite often how I got to doing what I’m doing now. And if I’m being fully transparent, I don’t know how I ended up where I am. I graduated college with a passion and knowledge in dairy science. I specialized in calf and maternal care. I LOVED IT. But, as our family grew, I knew I needed something different. I became a stay at home mom briefly and during that time I was getting my lashes done by my dear friend (who now works within my salon). I saw what she was doing and fell in love with it. I thought “eh why the hell not”. I gave the class a try and started taking clients from my front porch in my house. Quickly, I grew and knew I needed a bigger space that was easier for clients. In August of 2022 I moved into my salon.
I remember during that time I had people asking me to start spray tanning. I always told them no, that I didn’t think I would love it. But boy was I wrong. After getting certified, I couldn’t stop. Seeing the light in women’s eyes when they recieved that spray tan. It was like an instant confidence boost for them. They loved it and I loved making them feel happy. Almost two years later, I am triple certified in spray tanning, with a knowledge in plus sized women, women of color, body building, and contour tanning.
I have met so many amazing people within my little salon. Every day is another day to make women feel beautiful, and I cannot wait to see out my plans I have for this business of mine.
