The Women’s Empowerment Series 7 was a remarkable event that brought together participants, mentors, and community professionals to engage in meaningful discussions about domestic violence, safety, and community resources. The evening was filled with invaluable insights, thanks to the contributions of our esteemed guests and facilitators.
We were honored to have several key professionals from our community join us to shed light on these critical issues:
Judge Tricia Walker: Her legal expertise provided a deep understanding of how domestic violence cases, and others, are handled in the judiciary system, highlighting the importance of legal protection and justice for survivors.
Abigail Cochran & Riley Malliet from SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac: These representatives discussed the role of healthcare providers in identifying and supporting victims of domestic violence, emphasizing the need for comprehensive health services.
Officer Brown from the Fond du Lac Police Department: Officer Brown shared insights into the law enforcement’s role in ensuring safety and providing immediate assistance to those affected by domestic violence or other scenarios.
A special thank you goes to our Panel Facilitator, Connie Krupp, a dedicated board member and Wellness4Life Coaching professional. Connie expertly guided the discussion, ensuring that all participants had the opportunity to engage with the panel and gain a deeper understanding of the issues at hand.
The event was not only informative but also deeply impactful. Participants left with a greater awareness of the resources available to them and the processes in place to support and protect individuals facing domestic violence.
