We EmpowHER’s Sisterhood Support is a monthly class that welcomes all We EmpowHER participants, volunteers, mentors, and guests! It serves as a platform for individuals to come together, socialize, and delve into engaging topics in a supportive environment.
Sarah Klein, our Program Director, expresses her appreciation for the inclusive nature of the class, stating, “One of my favorite things about this class is the sense of unity present in the room. There’s no distinction between ‘participants’ or ‘volunteers’—we’re all just here together to learn and grow.”
In March, Sisterhood Support featured Angelica Niemann, Former Miss Wisconsin and Miss Volunteer America, who shared her insights on The Power of Persistence. Angelica’s journey of overcoming obstacles to achieve her dream of competing on the national stage served as a source of inspiration for We EmpowHER participants, volunteers, and mentors alike. Her story offered valuable lessons on resilience-building tools.
