I’ve been a Boba tea freak since I discovered them at a mall in Madison, WI as a teen. I heard we had a spot locally now, so I had to check it out.

The owner, Kean, was a sushi chef up in Appleton until sometime during Covid 19. He decided he was better suited to be self employed, so he started at local markets. Due to regulations with rice and temperatures, to conform with acceptable market practice, he landed on doing Poké—and we’re so glad he did! It’s delicious and a fairly healthy option.

They opted to add boba about six months in. I assumed the boba was original as it pairs so well, so I was surprised to hear it was an add. Great add in my opinion. In many ways its refreshing to see a fun, non-alcoholic drink in an area vastly populated by bars.

While I was there I got a passion fruit tea with mango boba, and an avocado poké bowl. Again, something not often found in our area-a healthy and delicious meal for us vegetarians or even vegans. Everyone there was bubbly—see what I did there, and the service was excellent.

It’s really amazing to hear the plans of growth that Kean is thinking of, and to see his passion for this unique culinary experience.
